Dr Ramona Burrage is a chartered clinical psychologist and associate fellow registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS), the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).

EXPERTISE
Ramona has practised as a Clinical Psychologist within the NHS and privately across a range of settings, gaining considerable experience working with children and adolescents, adults and older adults with a range of mental health challenges.
EXPERIENCE
Ramona worked at the Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma in London with some of the leading figures in the field of CBT for anxiety and depression related disorders. Her career has also included working as a lecturer at Thames Valley University, sharing her knowledge creatively and inspiring learners with fun and engaging content.
EDUCATION
In 2002 she completed a Masters in Research Methods & Psychological Assessments. In 2009 she graduated with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) from Salomon’s, Canterbury Christ Church University and followed this training with a postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (PGDip) at the Institute of Psychiatry at King’s College London, becoming a fully accredited CBT therapist in 2010.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
More recently, Ramona has incorporated acceptance and commitment training (ACT) techniques into her coaching practice, noting the importance of focusing on value-based choices that are instrumental in the journey of personal development.
APPROACH
With her creative, person-centred outlook, Ramona approaches her work with energy and enthusiasm. She enjoys art, photography, and as an avid reader she collects books that come with a bit of history or a story of their own to tell.
IDEOLOGY
Inspired by the Japanese art of repair - Kintsugi - Ramona sees parallels between her work and this ethos of embracing flaws and imperfections to create an even stronger, more beautiful piece of art, believing that there is so much potential in reconstructing the broken pieces and finding a different journey towards healing and health.
